Gmsh: PLC Error: A segment and a facet intersect at point -> Invalid boundary mesh

Post by seppelw »

Hello,

got a problem when using gmsh. I deleted the problematic solid, but now the same issue is at a similar solid and I do not know how ir can be fixed,

Can someone explain to me what the Problem is, why is it caused and how can it be resoved?

I found out that only the Pinheaders are the problem, so I just put those in the example(Would be too big otherwise for attachment anyway).

Thank you very much, Best Regards, Seppel

P.S.

New mesh was added to the mesh object.
Gmsh had warnings ...
Error : PLC Error: A segment and a facet intersect at point
Error : Invalid boundary mesh (segment-facet intersection) on surface 1368, intersection (78.2419,-58.862,0.904559)
Error : No elements in volume 1
Error : ------------------------------
Error : Mesh generation error summary
Error : 0 warnings
Error : 3 errors
Error : Check the full log for details
Error : ------------------------------

Best Regards, Seppel
