I can add some description but I'm not sure why there are 3 yield points to be defined. Usually we specify either 1 point (perfect plasticity), 2 points (hardening) or several points (multilinear model). This feature should be modified to allow the users to define as many yield points as they want. Unless I just missed the possibility to add more than 3 points there.

It shouldn't be difficult to resolve this limitation by adding the possibility to define more yield points. There was a discussion about adding a feature request to BugTracker here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=51756

but it seems that it still hasn't been done. To begin with, I can add a ticket for this if you don't mind.

Thanks, I just added it: https://tracker.freecadweb.org/view.php?id=4720

Now I will write some description about this feature (in its current state) for wiki page.

Hello New Joker and Kunda

I'm happy that the case of the yield points moving forward it is in my eyes a very important thing for FEM analysis

Thanks and Greetings

you are totally right ... There is a simple reason ... I needed only two points and I did not want to spent the time to code a task panel. I needed a fast working solution for a real project, thus I made this hack with two strings a yield points. The real implementation just never happened.

Go for it, if you would like to. We need a data model to save as many yield points as needed and some task panel to edit them.

I will help when there are any questions.
