Can Freecad to architecture airflow analysis?
Hi
I am curious if freecad can do an airflow for architecture like calculating how warm air might rise under the roof here and escape
Or wind would flow around it

Look in the archives of the FEM forum. There are topics where simulations of wind forces on houses were investigated.

Looks like you need to link it to openFOAM.

That is true, fluid analysis is better performed through OpenFOAM in FreeCAD these days, at least for high-reynolds fluids, which includes turbulences.
For this, the CfdOF workbench should be added, it takes care of all major dependencies and is supported by clear documentation and tutorials.
I do believe one FreeCAD user documented exactly that: aerodynamic forces on buildings.
If you wish to perform an slow, natural, convective air-flow analysis, in that case, you will be better suited with Elmer. See https://wiki.freecadweb.org/FEM_SolverElmer
That will allow you to perform a multi-physics Heat and Flow equation solution.

In words: during storm, dont go under the roof, it is the most dangerous place...

Interesting result. I would have assumed more vertical drag on the roofs.

As for the simulation itself, given the wind direction, I am quite surprised the flow did not generate entrainment (venturi) effect from the opening in the roof. The flow pattern should be very different coming from the other side.
