Questions about Mystran (Beams)

Post by cad1234 »

1.) would it be possible to simulate beams with hinged and fixed (stiff) connections between beams with Mystran?
2.) would it be possible to show momentum diagram, shear force diagram and normal force diagram with Mystran?
...as long-term development..

Here is a CBAR example. There are two hinges to pass only rotation.
Mystran can solve this. FC can't generate this case ATM.

If you find a way to set these up in FreeCAD, please do let me know.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do anything with 1D elements in the gui.
