Gmsh not rendering(keeps running non-stop)

Post by SmileyFaceImoji »

OS: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) (XFCE/lightdm-xsession)
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.19.
Build type: Release
Python version: 3.9.2
Qt version: 5.15.2
Coin version: 4.0.0
OCC version: 7.5.1
Locale: English/United Kingdom (en_GB)

Good day everyone, above is my OS version

I've only used the FEM workbench twice and it treated me well the first time though the second time I had an issue with creating a mesh. When I constrain the parts of the analysis,

I created an Analysis that holds:
=the Calculix solver,
=selected material card Steel-Generic
=The fixed 2 bottom faces,
=applied compression force of 16060 newtons.

When it was time for me to create the Gmsh there was the following yellow message in my report view[Fem::FemMeshObjectPython / FEMMeshGmsh: Links go out of the allowed scope]. I closed the application then went to my terminal and updated my system in hopes it would work and when I came back the yellow message was not there though when I applied the mesh there would be red messages in the report view followed by a timer that won't stop running. I followed the exact same order and logic as I did the precious time though the mesh ends up not rendering. I've attached images of my failed attempt and successful attempt at creating a mesh.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello, sorry for late reply.
Can you post your FreeCAD-file?
Reduce file-size:
In model-tree, right click on gmsh-object, "clear mesh".
Thanks.
