I am facing exactly the same issue with FreeCAD 0.17 Revision 12624(git) on Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS, since 23rd November 2017

No need to post further "me too"s. The fix works here and is contained in the version available on the download page. Depending on the OS it might take another day until it appears.

I have a similar problem. I am using FC Daily with the last update. The app closes every time i try to delete (using del key) some entity or undo (ctrl-z) inside a Sketch. I have FC 0.16 in the same machine/OS, but there I don't have this problem.
