Guys, please read the header of this forum. It's named Part Design module development. Not "Sketcher module development".
Sketcher is not, and has never been part of the Part Design module; it has always been its own, separate module.
If you doubt me, look at the source code.
So why are you continuing to post Sketcher topics here?
Why are people posting Sketcher topics here?!?

Re: Why are people posting Sketcher topics here?!?
Perhaps, because users and even developers are still confused with the workbench concept. In this case the users selected the Part Design workbench and they found a tool named Sketcher (which is essentially required to work in PD). When clicking on that tool a user doesn't expect to be beamed into another workbench.
I understand that workbenches help to separate different CAD workflows and tool sets and that they help to modularise the development of FreeCAD, but sometimes that concept is also contra productive, e.g. when tools of common interest are operated in a dedicated workbench. IMHO the sketcher and the measurement tools are a good example for this.

If developers are confused by the workbench concept, we're in trouble. As for end users, they really should not post in the development forums in the first place.
