Attachment positioning of a sketch

Post by Vagulus »

With the Attachment Position parameters all set to nought my sketch appears at the Origin as expected
210301 XYZ All 0 - 640x310.png
210301 XYZ All 0 - 640x310.png (109.23 KiB) Viewed 1691 times
When I change the Z parameter to 30 the sketch moves on the X axis
210301 Z 30 - 640x305.png
210301 Z 30 - 640x305.png (110.04 KiB) Viewed 1691 times
The same sort of thing applies to the other axes (a change in X begets movement along the Y axis etc.

I guess you all know that ;) - and knowing about it you can just allow for it - but I didn't see it reported.

It is documented on the Part Attachment page.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

I don't know why I didn't find that.
I better spend some time with that.
Sorry to bother you.
