So that's the difference between the 2: that kind-of seems wrong to me, in the grand scheme of things
try the Assembly4 workbench for FreCAD — tutorials here and here

As a simple user I am less concerned with right/wrong and more with how/what

Main issue (as far as I am concerned) is that shape binder is tied to original body and therefore difficult/impossible to use with link objects.

PS please be careful with what I say ;) I barely know my way round FreeCAD :lol:
