How create in Part Design for use assembly2 in V0.17?

Hello,

I used 0.16 in Ubuntu 16.04LTS but it's updated to 0.17 and I don't know how desing using Part Design for use Assembly2.

When I create in Part Design and try to do a Assembly get the next error:
A part can only be imported from a FreeCAD document with exactly one visible part. Aborting operation

For me, above instructions work well in 0.16 but causes a crash in 0.17, so your milage may vary.

i just tested , i used 2 simple 0.17 objects.. loaded and they appeared fine.

Are you sure, you have migrated all your 0.16 designs that you want to use, do they have a single body inside ?

It was/is recommended to keep complex designs in 0.16 and start in 0.17 with new designs. Designs can be migrated, but some of the more sophisticated tricks used in 0.16 may fail to convert.. there are several threads about such here..
