Feature Request: Use of Expression Engine in Animate Assembly

Postby jruiz » Sun Mar 08, 2020 2:29 pm

Good morning.
In Assembly4 WB, after clicking Animate Assembly icon,
Don't you think it could be useful to add the capability of adding Expression Engine to the fields (Range Begin, Range End, Step and Sleep(s)) appearing in the corresponding dialog?

PS: In the message, I have used boldface style for highlighting what was modified in the edition i made on march 19/2020.

I don't know whether it would be useful but it would be very difficult to implement (meaning: I don't know how to implement such a thing).
try the Assembly4 workbench for FreCAD v0.19
install with Tools > Addon Manager > Assembly4 — tutorials here and here

Ok :(
BTW, was talking about that little Expression Engine icon that can used for assigning referenced values to variables.
