Here is a look at the topological naming issue where face names change when a part is modified and then the assembly is updated. Unfortunately this video is about the results of the issue and not a cure. There is an option in the A2+ Preferences called “Use experimental topological naming”. Has anyone tried to use this option? If so how well did it work?
The pdf has pictures of the name changes and the video shows how they were obtained.
