Assembly4 : LCS for Assembly of Assembly

Post by cparg »

Hello,
I need your help with Assembly 4.
I created the attached simplified Testcase.
I would like to place the two assemblies at the end of the Rods.
The Rods are Parts of the Assembly and I cannot create a LCS that refers to that Part.

However, I don't know how to create the LCS in PartBottom so that it can be aligned with the other instance, PartTop.

I am using FreeCAD_0.19-24276-Linux-Conda_glibc2.12-x86_64.AppImage with Assembly 4 AddOn.

Can you help ?

Many thanks
Christian

Hi!
You can Import LCS from a part of a sub-assembly to the root of sub-assembly. After you can use imported LCS(s) in the main assembly//
