Flood disaster in western germany /Ahr-Valley [A2plus]

Post by kbwbe »

Hi FreeCAD-friends,

I unfortunately have to announce, that my family and me were heavily affected by the recent flood disaster within the Ahr-valley. We are all still alive and have not been hurt, but our house is badly damaged and we cannot live inside it for the next time. Also the company, where i am working is heavily damaged. Nevertheless, everything (i hope), will be payed by assurances. But there will be a lot of work to recover everything.

Because of all that horrible circumstances, i will have really no time for further development of A2plus, at least for one year.

Thanks to all users of A2plus for patience.

Dear Klaus,

I feel with you and your family!
I am happy to hear you and your family is OK in terms of health. I wish you a long and strong breath to grow up your home again. German bureaucracy can suck as hell but in the end things are often managed, so on dark days don't give up.

best regards Uwe

I wish you much strength in rebuilding your house. Take the time you need. FreeCAD should be a pleasure, not a burden.

That is really bad. Hope everything will be fine to you and your family and recovered soon.

Keep high the good spirit. Some material things may be lost but if you and your family are in good health, you will recover you normal life soon.
