Attached is a drawing of a part. I am able to place LCSs on the part but when I link it into assembly 4 only the lcs coordinates show up, not the part. Tried toggling it, doesn't help.
Thanks for your help.

Your LCS(s) are belong to Body, but the solid object (suppose it was imported) doesn't. You need to drag&drop your object to Body:

...or you can create a "Part" (yellow icon) in Asm4 or in Part Design WB (Asm4 adds an initial LCS) and drop the solid to the Part, and after delete the Body (if you don't need to construct something else). I prefer to use the Part as a container for multiple objects (imported .STEP(s), Bodies etc.). This lets me to assign different colors to multiple objects, but the Asm4 defines the Part as one unit (which is useful for BOM in some cases). FC doesn't support multiple solids for Body at this moment(AFAIK)
