Holdi has done some translation to german. I am not sure if he translated the only the program or the wiki as well. It was sometimes a bit difficult because he wanted not only translate things but have them changed at the same time. You can view his posts to get an impression of what he has done.

okay..

we will see if he comes up with some sort of collaboration idea. I am free for anything, but i can´t do it all alone..at least not in a timely manner... and of course the minimum is someone who reads my outcome and set´s the ok´S
I hope he also reads that thread, as he is interested in translation of freecad in general..

I will help at least with proof reading. If time allows, I will do more.

NormandC wrote: Wed Mar 07, 2018 5:39 am @renatorivo I hope you won't hate me. I decided to start over with translation units (I added them manually!), so the page needs to be translated again from scratch. I also chose to create translation units for each separate header, paragraph, and list item. This means there are more than 100 translation units. I thought that once the page is translated, it would make translations more manageable: more units, but each rather short. We'll see with time if it's more of a hassle... :?
Thanks NormandC. That's what I wanted to do too. Unfortunately, during these days I could not contribute, sorry. I see you have done a mountain of work (an iceberg because only the tip appears)!!

@chrisb After your changes to the English page, I suggest you mark the page before translating into German, otherwise your translations are not updated.

Sorry for missing this. And sorry for having some more questions arising from this:
- How do I mark a page for translation?
- Can I find all the places where I have to do it?
- Do I have to rework the translation?
- Looking at the german page there is a paragraph marked as outdated. Is it enough to rework them?

Chris
