That's exactly what I did, but

Ah sorry, didn't read with full attention... you need to use a capital letter, Quick61. It took me many, many hours to discover that :)

Damn, that's ridiculous! I did search for that error and found nothing.

Thanks Yorik, I would have never known... quick61, or shall I say Quick61, you should receive a automated email momentarily.

No problem Yorik, What I think is the MediaWiki error message should be more explicit. I'm guessing it's hard coded so you're off the hook. ;)

Yorik
I can access that page as well, did you make me an admin/moderator or something on the wiki...or can anyone read the create new user page?

You probably did give me "extra powers", as you did for the forum and mantis, but I hadn't noticed...which is why I had not ever helped out with giving users edit rights etc. :)

Indeed you are administrator Jim... I think it came from the old wiki, you must have helped to do some cleaning at some point

Hi Mark
It should work now ...I hope. The set up is a bit buggy, but I put you in "edit" group, so I think that will allow you to edit pages...let me know if it works. :)

I was sure I had put him in the Edit group! But it may have been set off when I checked the "Email welcome message with random password to user" option.
