Hello ccamara, Ulrich,

As Yorik said in a prior post, please send me your email addresses via PM and I'll create you an account. Also, your wiki username will be the same as your forum username, unless you tell me otherwise.

Once your accounts are created, you will get an email notification with a randomly generated password that you will be able to change in your wiki settings.

To anybody who wants to get wiki edit permissions and reads this, you can PM me directly with the same details as above.

Hello everybody,

I am using FreeCad for my hobby and I would like to contribute to the french / english documentation. Furthermore I have written some macros (e.g. helix pipe) that could be helpful for other FreeCad users. I would like to share this macros in the Wiki.

Coud I get wiki edit permission?

Thanks in advance

Actually, before there are lots of wiki that you don't need to get permission, but because of many spammers they became much stricter to their pages. I suggest you to contact the administrator of the page for you to have their permission. :geek:

Am I the only one who thinks NatalieMurrieta is a spambot?

Her posts are all off track. For example this one is is ludicrous.

Hello,

New user here. I'd like to add a dependency for building FreeCAD to the wiki page http://freecadweb.org/wiki/index.php?ti ... nix#Fedora

I'm actually on Scientific Linux, but I think the same applies to Fedora:

python-pyside-devel

Thanks! -Ian-

Hello Ian,

Would you please read my first reply in this current (16th) page.

I think we need to add this info to the first post.

Edit: I created a new sticky. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6830

Hello Norman,

I did try to PM first, but the forum seems to be configured so that PMs aren't allowed until a new user has made some posts on the forums. Sorry if my approach seems lazy, I'm working over a very slow and intermittent Internet connection. -Ian-

I wasn't aware of that. I'll see what can be done about this.

I've answered your PM.
