Japanease Translation

Hi,

In recently years, I have been interested in open-source CAE
I expect that FreeCAD will become one of the most important components in open-source CAE in the near future.

So, I want to help Japanese translation to contribute this cool project so that Japanese can became more familiar
with this cool project.

That would be great, welcome on board!
There are 2 things you can do:

- Translate the FreeCAD interface itself: Everything is handled here: http://crowdin.net/project/freecad/invite (but I see someone has started translating to japanese already, is that you?)

- Translate the wiki manual: see this page: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/f ... g_the_wiki you would also need edit permission for that, so just tell me if you need it.

Anyway, thanks for your help, feel free to ask if you encounter any problem!

Yes, its me. I was leaning the crowdin before post because Its my first time to use it.

Okay, you have edit rights now.
Best way to start is to create a Online_Help_Toc/jp ( http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/f ... elp_Toc/jp ) page, then copy the contents of the original english page, add /jp to the page names to create new ones, and translate the descriptions. Once you have that page running, I'll add it to the main page and create a couple of templates for you to use.

Okay, that's great!

A couple of observations:

- I made a {{jp}} template, (which displays a small japanese flag, to put in the "available languages"
- That {{jp}} template must be used on the original english page that you translate, to notify readers that a japanese translation of that page is available. On your japanese page, you use the {{en}} template, to link back to the original page (See your Online_Help_Toc/jp page and the original Online_Help_Toc , I did it there as an example).
- I also made a {{Languages/jp}} template that you can use on japanese pages, instead of the {{Languages}} template. Since I don't know japanese, could you edit that template and translate the words "Available languages" to japanese? ( http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/f ... ction=edit )
- Same thing for {{Docnav/jp}} that you can use each time you encounter the {{Docnav}} template. Can you also edit it and translate the words "previous", "next" and "index" ? ( http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/f ... ction=edit )
- Finally, I'd like to add your new Toc page to the freecad main page... How do you say/write "Table of contents" in japanese?

Actually I am not a CAD specialist but learned CAD operation from college.
