Python error output in report view

Postby Joel_graff » Tue Sep 14, 2021 1:27 pm

Just a quick question - is there an easy way to get a complete stract trace from a python error in FreeCAD under Windows? The report view always cuts it off since it's usually too long. On my Linux machine, I just run FreeCAD from the terminal and look at that for the complete listing. It appears there's no equivalent under Windows...

If you run from a command line prompt (or I guess you could edit the desktop link to include a command line arugment)

FreeCAD --log-file "c:\users\me\documents\mylogfile.txt"
