Animate using Spreadsheet Value

Postby veryevil » Thu Apr 16, 2020 9:13 am

Hi, I have two parts I want to move based on a value in a spreadsheet with the alias lift. I would like to run a script to change lift from 0 to 50 in 0.25 intervals and update the display.

I have the spread sheet set up fine and I can manually edit the value and the parts move as the formula specifies but I would like to be able to run a macro and have it update. So I can animate the objects travel to look for clearances etc.

Is this possible?

Thanks

You can use the animation workbench

There is a way to use expressions to get the data from a spreadsheet into the parameters of the placer as expressions.
