Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
Yorik and I discovered a problem with the updatets.py script, it was not recursing correctly: I think it’s going to fix a lot of these issues. Yorik is testing the change now.
Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
Thanks for the list David. I have checked all items:
Most issues have already been addressed. See:
https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/5301/files
https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/5370/files
https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/5371/files
I'll do a PR for the last 4 issues.

This does not seem to be a problem. Both the menu text and the tooltip are already translated (I have checked fr and pl).&Arch/Structure tools/Structure
Idem.&Draft/Facebinder
This was missed.&Arch/Cut with a line
This was missed."None" on the GUI itself is not translate
I made a mistake with this one. I used "Draft_Array" as the context, but it should be "Draft_OrthoArray".&Draft/Modification/Array tools/Array
OK.should be Bézier

Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
Thank you Chennes and Roy for your feedback/work.
that one, I was not sure because in French, it is the same word. For sure, the two other commands below are not translate.&Arch/Structure tools/Structure
it's well translate. My remark was more about the place to find the original text, under Glossary file. Is it normal?&Draft/Facebinder
Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
in the top menu, we have Arch and Draft.
the underlined letters are the shortcuts, right?
what happen to the shorcut if in a translation, we don't have the underlined letter in English? For example, in French, Draft would become Épure.

Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
The character after & determines which key (combined with Alt) will open the menu.
Ideally using the same character for several menus should be avoided.
For example:
Switch to French
Switch to the Arch WB.
There are now 3 menu that use A as the "menu access key" (not sure if this is the correct term): Affichage, Arch and Aide.
To open the Aide menu you would have to use Alt+A 3 times.

Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
what will happen to languages like Chinese, Russian, Polish?Ideally using the same character for several menus should be avoided.
Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
I do not understand your question. Each language version is separate in this regard (I think).
For the French translation you might do this:
&Draft -> É&pure
This would mean that Alt+P can be used to open the menu if French is the language.

Re: translation of the GUI stuck for Arch workbench
now I get it. the missing word for my understanding is "independant".
