The future of Arch and BIM workbenches
I was translating FreeCAD wiki pages, and I am confused about two contradicting sentences.
In BIM Workbench(https://wiki.freecadweb.org/BIM_Workbench) it is said
"[Arch and BIM workbenches]will probably be merged in the future",
while Arch Workbench wiki(https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Arch_Workbench) says
"The BIM functionality of FreeCAD is now progressively split into this Arch Workbench... and BIM Workbench"
Does anyone know which is true, at the moment??

I do not know what is the current plan here, @yorik should comment.

@Kunda1 , @Roy_043 Thank you for your replies!
I may omit the unclear parts of the source texts in my translation.

Re: The future of Arch and BIM workbenches
My two cents.
Probably it will be best to leave them and add maybe a "translator note" to signal these incongruences, as not translating "difficult things" could be considered a "wrong habit".

Hi @onekk thank you very much for your advice. I will abide by that.
Re: The future of Arch and BIM workbenches
Honestly I'm still not sure about Arch/BIM separation... That's probably where the confusion comes from.
In one side it's handy to have BIM outside the FreeCAD codebase. On the other hand, it's handy to have Arch/BIM objects open correctly even without the BIM WB.
Maybe Arch should be stripped of all its tools? It would only contain object definitions, so when you open a FreeCAD file with BIM objects, it loads properly, even without any addon installed. But if you want to edit/create BIM content, then you need the BIM addon.

Re: The future of Arch and BIM workbenches
The upshot here is that there is a lot more flexibility in the addon manager to do this now + both workbenches are python based. Package Metadata can be leveraged to pull in the dependencies (even other workbenches!)
h/t to @chennes for making this more of a reality with his work on the addon manager

Why exactly?
After #ElonMuskBuyTwitter I'm no more on Twitter, that's really enough
