For me, Arch module's improvement need, first, Draft module's improvement (drawing aid).yorik wrote:or, if it's only for the Arch module, you can start a new thread in the Arch section.
It's why I think a wider audience is necessary.
But we can begin here if you want. What have you in mind ?

At the moment the current tools are already great, but some need a bit more refinement and consistency in the controlsjidoeuf wrote:regis wrote:... area where to post tools that are desired for better architectural work. For me, Arch module's improvement need, first, Draft module's improvement (drawing aid).yorik wrote:or, if it's only for the Arch module, you can start a new thread in the Arch section.

What the flip command does is invert the normal direction of the dimension. What the "flip text" property does is to rotate the text 180° around that normal. I think with these two features you are able to have the text in all possible situations you might want. But I agree the concept is a bit confusing, I'll make the doc a bit clearer.

I see, probably add that tool to the view tab, so it's not hidden so far away in the utilities when it has a direct use.

ability to draw and create walls and structure from vertical sketches
Currently walls can't be generated if sketch is vertical.
In the example picture for the structure, that's just a normal shape extrusion.
