Edit selected object in Draft WB does nothing.

Post by bitacovir »

Is this tool supposed to do something? I don't understand how it works in DraftWB. In my case, it does not do anything.

This is a half-built feature which will:

- Highlight the wire of the object you want to edit in red, such that you can see it as an "x-ray" in front of other objects
- Allow you to select edges and vertices of wires even though there are objects obscuring it

When editing a complex 3D scene, this x-ray capability is useful. However, the way it is implemented is pretty poor and the duplicate icon makes things confusing. It can definitely be improved.

Is it intended to work with Draft wires only or also with sketches and PartDesign features?
