Help with parametric UV subdvision workflow

Post by dimitar »

I am working on a project at the moment where I want to test Freecad's capabilities. It's for a landscape projects with a series of strips. We've already done a series of concepts in Blender, but the idea is now to create a more parametric model that could eventually be pushed to Revit.

Here is how I am thinking of approaching it:

How would one go about isosurf extraction based on UV coordinates? I know I've seen discussions on the topic elsewhere but it's been a while.

Late to the party.. The project must be finished by now :D

But I would definitely try to do this with a big master sketch. Then maybe using a shapebinder from the lattice WB, which can extract/link specific edges from a shape. Then, you'll have different curves to build upon. Then, maybe Arch walls, or Part 2D Offset + Part Extrude... Needs some testing
