Sure, many things in modeling this in FC could be done much better then I did, still on an exiting way of learning, any comments on what could be done better are highly welcome.
Just for fun also a simple and quick Blender Render of the oval house, created in FC ;)
Wow! This is a very cool FC4FUN example.
Thanks for sharing it.

Looks great!! Seems, it was directly made in Freecad?
What Render Engine was used?
In my FC version, have only the POV- and Luxrender, but didn`t used them in the past..
No experience with the RT fork, has it more options in this area?
Very interesting!!

@realthundar's branch has more 'advanced' support, the most importantly is toponaming solution, App:Link which had been merged in main FC, better light and shadow support which supposedly achieve the effect @bitacovir show :D

Found another application area for the arch CW Macro, to have some examples in one thread at one place.

A point fixed glass facade.
Used archgrid as reference.
The vertical and horizontal mullions are no longer used as mullions, but more or less as flexible sealing or something like that.
Added an inner archgrid, linked to the outer archgid (CW), used as array for the 4 arm spiders.
The 2 arm edge spiders have different directions, used point arrays, linked to the main archgrid .
The corner spiders are single armed.
Didn`t spend effort for the spider connection to the steal construction, just as principle.

Was my first try with this kind of facade in FC..any comment, what could be done better are welcome..

Think the spider concept has in general room for light weight construction like this:

Think also this kind of construction could be done in FC, from my point of view ;)..
