can freecad fem do that?
Fem just do the calculation, You have to use the building code to justfy your design. Sometimes the code is much easy than fea, so fea is just a waste of time and hard to get a certificate. Because the certifier don't understand fea. He just use the building code.

this is about confirming the practicality of freecad. therefore we can also work with fictitious data here

I searched a long time for an ifc file for attaching a slar panel to a trapezoidal sheet, but didn't find anything.
most of it is for revit or archicad.
I often hear that as an argument against freecad that there are few parts for freecad to lode down.

so revit and archicad are only half the solution, because it doesn't contain any BIM-data. in the end it will be necessary that everything is available as ifc and then all cad systems are equivalent at that point.

Thanks checking :)

In fact, I note there is some information on the pdf, just need to include the external finishes / cladding into overall dimensions and should do ...

See below screencapture, there are dimensions setting-out the ridgeline.

More weird results - seem Part Extrusion against IFCexport has something imcompatible in some cases - it seem Meter be interpreted as Millimeters ?
(In addition to the extrusion direction problem)

I place the Sketch for extrusion over opposite wall, so to ensure the subtraction volume if extruded in that particular direction cut the wall.

It cut, but the extrusion volume become extremely long
