Stair Analysis and Custom Design

Post by jtm2020hyo »

1) it is possible to create a Stair using faces instead of line? and creates faces from a Stair?

Image

... this could be useful for FEM analysis

2) it is possible to create Spiral, L-shaped, U-Shaped Stairs without/with 1/2 and 1/4 turn?

Image

3) How can I edit treads, riser, slab stair, landing, flight, railing, nosing riser, thickness, ramp, winder, housed, and etc, using maybe sketcher or part design?

4) is there any guide to creating Stairs using part wb or part design wb?

There were posts with Macros to produce different forms of stairs like Spiral, probably in Python sub-forum, please search.

L/U-Shape stairs without winder is possible with Stair tools, please search posts in Arch sub-forum. With Arch object, there are parameters to tweak treads, riser, landing, thickness etc.

Good luck :)
