Display Mode of annotations: confusing...

Post by Roy_043 »

There have been discussions about the Display Mode of annotations before.
F.e. https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 41#p409630

Currently there still is an inconsistency:
To get the text aligned with the camera you must choose "2D text" for a Draft_Text and a Draft_Label, but for a Draft_Dimension you must choose "3D".

I think that renaming the Display Mode options would help. For a "Yellow Label" (https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 18#p497618) the Display Mode options are "World" and "Screen". Much easier to understand IMO.

Yes! I'm not sure what a good, clear, definitive wording would be good here... Maybe "World" vs "Camera"? or World vs View?
