Maybe a better solution would be to modify the source code of dimensions, to take link them to some properties of the original object, ...

If I link the dimension to say obj1.edge1 to obj2.edge2 and specify a position say (obj1.edge3.Lenght * 0.5) when the object is modified all the measure will be recalculated.
Hello Carlo (onekk). Thanks for your contribution to this thread. Agreed. It'd be great if the source code for dimensions would automatically link to properties of the original object being measured, to keep it always reflecting the object's properties like size and position relative to the object. This is certainly basic functionality that is common in every CAD software I have seen. Maybe the coding gods will hear our clamor. :D

Thank you for the update. Certainly very useful to quickly produce triangular shapes, like the metal brackets pictured in your video, using only one parameter. Automatically saves 50% in material costs.
