Draft tutorial - fusing (upgrade) issue

Post by marcin.es30 »

Hello
Im doing this one https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Draft_tutorial currently and encoutered a difference in my application comparing to the the text. When I'm trying to do 6a (fusing by upgrade operation) I receive many Wire object (4) instead of one. Is this a bug or my mistake somewhere??

Thanks
Marcin

There is something wrong with the accuracy of your work. The endpoints of the lines and the arcs do not coincide. Go back to step 5. Make sure that only Draft_Snap_Endpoint is active, or, if you want to work with multiple snaps, make sure that Draft_Snap_Near is switched off.

You are absolutly right, when I clicked line from arc not from end vertex all behaves correctly. It looks identical and compound behaves correctly on orginal sketch but for wire it was failing. On new works as expected.

Thanks for pointing in proper direction!
