I used your Curves workbench with a lot of satisfaction. Using Sweep_2_rails and Approximation_Curve. Would it be possible to transform
the object obtained into solid?

Hi Joel,
The only way to get a solid is to start with the "Sweep_2_rails surface" and build all the other faces around it (with precise, watertight tools) , up to a closed shell that can be converted to a solid.
You should also have a look at the surface workbench (in FC 0.17) that has a very interesting and powerful (but be careful, it can crash FC quite easily, also) "filling" tool.
This is the main problem with my tools. They are approximation tools : Sweep_2_rails only generates a point cloud, that is later approximated with the approximation tool.

I succeed to make a solid with "offset" of part WB. By giving negative value and fill option selectionned.
Thats give thickness for the sweep2rail.

Re: Yakovlev Yak-3
Thank you Chris_G and GlouGlou for these quick answers. I'm looking at it and I've already done tests with
test.fcstd that are conclusive. I did not know about the surface workbench. Thanks again
