short WTC Test. see https://youtu.be/DMYfmBc6ZsA if you like. Material used Acrylic Tube, 1.5mm Finnboard for Top and bottom cover (several layers) and inlay mockup, 2 O-Rings for sealing for each cover, vaselin, several O-Rings for Alu pipes for inside sealing.
During the test i realized that i would need a filling pump to speed up diving process. The 4mm PVC pipes are bit small in diameter.
Propeller and shafts finished. That has been some trouble with these low quality propellers. Out of line with the shafts. Needed to redo the m3 thread for proper alignment. Also one brass tube has had a 0.1mm smaller ID, so that the shaft didn't move inside. I did check it with a different 3mm shaft and that one was ok. Should have waited for the proper shafts and do the fitting test on the workbench before .... i keep on saying that to me ... ignorant old man ...

Electronic stuff finished. I had to build a two channel "servo switch" for the pumps going on/off. The dealer wants 10EUR+ for fifteen lines of code ...

Due to severe illness a short, sharp, snappy delay has hit the shark project. Electronic department with front power pack. Battery packs stay in the water. Got top and bottom epoxy cover. The electronic needs a 12V to 5V/3A converter. The BEC of the motor controller are to weak to drive the metal geared encapsulated servos.
Water tests with brushless are going on. Neodyns and armature get a very thin epoxy cover. Bearings will be maintenanced after each diving session .i.e. dump the motor in special oil.

RC = thin resin cover (rust protection)
SJ = Solder joints (the only ones)
WT = water tight connectors

A BEC cross link will be added when final positioning in the sub is checked out.
c-clips on the brushless will not be put back into place. The magnets will hold everything in place. The engines probably wont do more than 20Watts according to the VIIC spread sheet calculus. And as said you want to give a drop of environmental friendly, water penetrating oil on the bearings after operation.

Underwater test setup (ahem, highly professional) . Speed controllers covered with resin, connectors are cheap sealed ones from our friends in the far east. Amperage taken is 80mA idling up to 300mA both motors at full speed. Battery voltage 11.8V. The motors a just hold together by magnetic force, no c-clip attached. The oil i us is this shown on the picture (I don't get any money for promotion ... actually come to think about it, why not ... ???). Just a tiny drop after service on the bearings to prevent rust.
Well, i think i will cover all electronics in resin and get rid of the WTCs all together except for the ballast tank.

Deep Sea main switch testing. Activated by magnet, including main battery voltage and current monitor.

Setback .... arrgh. When "nyloing" the hull the inner WTC carrier system has been bend by a tee wee bit, probably not more than 1/2 mm but enough so that the long plexiglass tubes won't slide in. Had to do some spear filing. O dear where have i been when they passed out brains ... most likely reading comics as usual.
Only things left to do are the "in water wiring harness" and completing the setup of the aft rudder section if there are no more additional technical ambushes.
Then dump in the river and learn to float .... yes, yes, yes
