Not new to CAD / CAM but new to FreeCAD. Thought I'd share my first effort. Took about three hours with issues. If I did it again it would take less than one hour I'm sure.

Re: New here
Good work. But could you give us more description about what have you made?

Re: New here
High Douglas, thanks for showing what newbies can achieve. BTW, you can upload images directly to the forum.

Re: New here
I tried loading directly to the forum but all I found was a way to put a link. If I can figure out how to do this, I will.
(ETA: Just figured this out.)
I work for a tooling manufacturer. This is a part a customer contacted me about needing a face groove
tool for. Customer drawing was on my desk, had some interesting features so I thought I'd model it up.
It get's threaded on the inside on the major diameter of the face groove so it screws on to something.
Sometimes they don't want you to know too much.
Was a good experience.
All the Best,

As a new user posting (correctly) to the Users Showcase subforum you are excused not having read the forum rules. You would have seen and hopefully have read them in the most frequently used Help forum. Point 5 tells you how to upload images. For future reference it might be interesting as well which version you used.
