A tutorial would be nice.
oh, it's a nice surprise to see some interest about this project. I have never really create a tutorial before, but i'll try something. There's some particular aspect that you want to see in detail? I think that FC potential for architecture is not yet revealed; it deserve more attention because, in my opinion, it's one of the few Bim that allows to model in pure 3D.

What about the use of some FC features (array, mirror, etc)?
What you had to do to perform the simulation in Blender? Did you use the full FC model or was necessary to make some adaptations?

How you utilized the Vi-Suite? I think if people see this then there will be more interest to port it to FreeCAD also.

I completely agree.

This workflow is pure openbim. This kind of interaction with other programs is what can motivate other people use FC.

Nice work!

Hi guys,
i'm sorry for the waiting, i have just post two little tutorials of this project on you tube, this is the link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaojKTw ... s0&index=1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8bQFKL ... s0&index=2

I've tried to do my best to show the overall steps in the workflow, paying attention at some phases of the modeling like placing windows, make the array and others.
This is the first two parts of the tutorial, it's already little outdated compare to the V.0.18 daily build, anyway i hope this could be useful.
I hope to show the energy simulation soon.
