Hi,
I enclose some pictures of my project for the replacement of some parts of the RC model, to be realized with a 3D printer.
Thanks and a great Freecad

Re: RC CAR
Hi,
Interesting Parts.
How did you manage the assembly? you designed in place?
I also manage to do some RC-car part to fix my nephew's car. Original parts where in ABS but my printer is not able to handle ABS, so I printed it in PLA, and at the end of the day as I re-enforced the wicked area, the final parts are stronger than the original ones
the orignal ones last 15 minutes (yes he broke the car after 15 min, it's a toy not "real" RC-CAR.
new parts are still alive after 1 year ! Unfortunately I don't find the photo of the printed parts...
one of the stl scanned part the two broken parts re-design, based on the scan

Re: RC CAR
This is a super cool project!!
I love to see projects like this done in FreeCAD. Is especially impressive to see that you have used scan data to model from.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: RC CAR
Thanks,
No Scan , only pure design with motion measurement and simulation tools in Freecad. I work as a 3D technical designer.
however the 0.18451 version is very stable. S oon as possible 3d printing new elements, mounts and public photos.
Thanks
