Wine rack

Post by Brutha »

Hi,

Bit of fun this, wanted to make something similar to a design I found online, also learn a bit about techdraw and practice my very much beginner woodwork!

Not quite finished yet, but here are some pics, and the freecad file also, if anyone is interested.

Cheers!

Something has gone out of whack, at least when opening in a current version. If I recompute all I get lots of messages
Can't find Origin for "Body004".

Your version is very old, if you use the development version you should always keep your system up to date. Currently even the most recent MacOS version is a bit outdated, the latest is

OS: macOS High Sierra (10.13)
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit

Brutha, are you interested in comments about the model?

Right, when you expand "Back support 1", you can see the Origin with its axes and planes is completely missing, same for "Back support 2" and "Back support 3" which I assume were duplicated from the first one.

Yes, now I check, they are missing here in my version. I hadn't noticed before - anyway, as Chris suggested, will update to most recent Freecad I can find when I get a moment, thanks!

Always nice to see such projects, that go beyond being a CAD model.
