I used Freecad to create all of the mechanically accurate parts in this model. I tried an assembly branch, but they were too unstable/hard to use so I just exported the models to Blender and assembled them there. I modelled the plastic pieces in blender and printed and created the real printer.
All of the freecad files are located in the zip I placed on openbuilds:

Here are the renders of model created mostly in freecad:
Here are some Pictures of the printer fully built:

Re: Keeprint Monster LARGE 3D Printer
What is the print size? It looks like the z size won't ever be a problem.
Re: Keeprint Monster LARGE 3D Printer
I wonder how you can print such huge overhangs as seen in the 4th image.

Re: Keeprint Monster LARGE 3D Printer
Print Size is roughly 2 feet by 3 feet by five feet. I wanted to be able to print a person if I wanted to. I have yet to really test it's mettle as I haven't got the filament runout sensor set up yet. With that I can daisy chain roll after roll and print darn near anything. I really don't support things that much in my prints. as long as I don't care about the surface finish, or if I do I fix it later. Saves me a fortune in support. On this print alone it saved me 1/2 a kg of support alone and the support screws up the finish anyway. If you like the helmet I modelled you can get it here:
