Just a quick showcase and thanks to everybody contributing to FreeCAD. Awesome piece of software, combined with blender. :D

Wonderful work!
How can you convert FreeCAD model to mesh format?
I find FreeCAD internal mesh exporter cannot export smooth round surfaces.

In the Mesh design workbench you can choose between different meshers and set the parameters to your liking. Please note that a mesh can not really be smooth it only can appear as such. It has no roundings only triangles which approximate round surfaces.

Yes. Exactly like chrisb is telling. I used the mesh design workbench to generate mesh models to export it blender.

Thank you and chrisb! Could you show me the model's mesh wireframe (all edges in Blender) or FreeCAD screenshot ?

The internal mesh exporter refers to the settings in the shape view preferences. See also here. The exported mesh is the result of the tesselated view in the 3D-Window.
If you decrease the values for linear and angular deflection you will get a more dense mesh but also a slower refresh rate for the 3D window in freecad. So choose the figures wisely ;) In any case some post-processing in blender is more or less mandatory.
