My very first 3D Design and Print

Postby fafc » Wed Mar 25, 2020 4:45 pm

Not so much show, but rather use... ;) - I present to you my very first 3D Design and Print!

The design, mesh and export to stl took place in FC, the printing was outsourced.
In total it took me about 3 weeks from start to export... However, at the same time I had to make myself familiar with FC (reading the wiki, youtube, asking questions on the forum, etc...). Also I didn't worked every day on it, furthermore sometimes I got frustrated with my lack of skill or the (sometimes) clumsy interface of FC, so I let the project rest for a couple of days. But I finally finished it and I'm overall very satisfied! :D

Well done.
Your product looks like big mouth with red lips. :D What's the real usage of it?

It's a device to improve airflow for my graphic card cooler.
I hope to get cooler temperatures and/or need less fan speed (noise), respectively. But I yet need to test it...
