Rotational axis for K40 Laser
Hello all,
here is a screenshot of my recent project: A rotational axis for a K40 Laser. I will use it to engrave glasses.
It is designed with Part Design and assembled with Assembly 4.
Here it is after the first laser Tests:
At the moment the first prototype is cut from wood, the final version will be 4 mm acrylic.
Best regards
Thorsten

Hello,
thanks for your replies, here are the first pictures.
It was the first test, I used always the same glass and some logos I had in the correct format.
Size of the logos is 60mmx60mm, they are raster engraved with laser power 20 % @ 300 mm/s.
At the top of the glas you can see the tests for correct size / power adjustments.
Best regards
Thorsten

That's looking pretty good for a prototype. Do you know what caused the BBQ logo to fade away on the side like that?
Re: Rotational axis for K40 Laser
Thanks. Yes, I know: Someone (guess) forget to tighten the screws on the air assist. So the air-needle moved down an blocked the laser beamGregory son of Carl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 1:59 am That's looking pretty good for a prototype.
