Adapter between grinding machine and exhaust extractor

The suction filter supplied by the manufacturer was simply too small for me. So I decided to create an adapter with FreeCAD and 3D printing. At first I was worried about the somewhat complex connection form on the grinding machine. I'm satisfied with the result, especially since the adapter proves its worth in daily use.

With the loft feature I had quickly created the adapter in its form.

In the slicer, it is important to define the correct position of the component so that the main forces do not act on the Y axis.

After a few tries the adapter is ready

The correct design and slicer settings were well made, so no rework on the machine mount was necessary.
