Hey Agnillev, that's a very nice tech. drawing you have made :D.

I couldn't withhold my little doing, well quite some time ago exactly with the release of FreeCAD 0.17 i have made some LED's
of my own. I did not like the KiCAD ones i wanted some more detail. Most difficult part was the decision what design i would
like to go with, choosing from the internet. The CAD design was easy the KiCAD SetUp tool exported the needed formats for
KiCAD. After watching a Youtube video showing a LED under a microscope i decided to refine my old design even even more.
Not for KiCAD this time, just for fun.
Finally i created this one...

Good job! Especially that you created a real technical drawing.

How did you create the partial cross section (I dont know if thats the correct technical term in english)?

Here is a technical drawing from me. It still needs surface roughness, edge break annotations and circle center marks. Does anybody know how to add those in 0.19 without "hacking" it by putting in images of the annotations?

Looking in its file, the object is 1/4 cut.
Then a drawing face is hatched.

I had to make a quarter cut in the part itself. I would have liked to do this in Techdraw this is a workaround.

Guess the interchangeable feature between FreeCAD and KiCAD makes lot of people very happy. I am not a electronics guy,
however i accidentality downloaded KiCAD and before i noticed i made a PCB . Despite the fact KiCAD offers a huge parts
library i couldn't find the heat-sink i already bought, unfortunately. So i had to learn how to make my own. I succeeded
creating all the parts needed, the 3D model and all the other parts...

You also bought this 30x25x25mm heat-sink? Feel free to download it from here: https://grabcad.com/library/heatsink-30 ... or-kicad-1
If you follow the link please read the description, i also added the seller i bought the hardware from!

P.S.: It took me some time to figure out what the two bosses on the heat-sink are for :? . These could keep distance to the
PCB but they are for stability...
