FREECAD Crash con file SVG

Salve a tutti,
sono un modellista navale e mi sono messo in testa di attrezzarmi con una fresatrice CNC.
Ho quindi rimesso mano al mio pc, da qualche anno caduto in disuso e ,non so neanch'io come, sono riuscito ad installare Ubuntu.
Mi sono quindi messo alla ricerca di un programma atto allo scopo: FreCAD.
Sto cercando ora di seguire un tutorial in cui si trasforma un disegno a mano libera in un oggetto 3D.
Eseguite le operazioni di vettorializzazione su Inkscape, ottengo il mio file *.SVG
Quando lancio Freecad e cerco di aprire/importare il file però, se scelgo l'opzione che a me interessa "SVG as geometry" , il sistema va in crash e devo riavviare il programma.
Accetta solo l'opzione " apri SVG come drawing" .
Grazie infinite a chi vorrà darmi una dritta. Con le mie scarse nozioni informatiche ci sto sbattendo la testa fortissimo! :(

Ciao Marcello, benvento.

A prima vista mi sembra che il problema derivi da Failed to load module &quot;canberra-gtk-module&quot; riportato all'inizio del tuo report.
Questo dovrebbe essere un errore che si verifica quando si installa software 32-bit su una sistema 64-bit, che però non mi sembra il tuo caso.
Prova a cercare in rete Failed to load module &quot;canberra-gtk-module&quot; e vedi se negli aiuti per Ubuntu trovi qualche consiglio che sembra adatto alla tua installazione.
Puoi allegare il tuo file per vedere se è importabile su altri sistemi ?
