Isn't pivoting a pad casual?

Search the wiki for Dependency Graph. Although it's a separate program, it is pretty standard. A FreeCAD builtin replacement is the DAG view.

I don't see the relationship between the position of objects and the dependency graph, in 25 years I've never used it and I'm fine
when you move an object using "Attachment > Placement", it is positioned where you place it, but the next one is repositioned on the general system, you have to move it too

The dependency graph in this instance highlights the fact that the OP has been attaching to out of body planes and using inappropriate attachment modes...

I would agree that it is not necessary normally, but it is a simple way to highlight these problems in this case.
