There are (at least) 2 fillet functions one in Part design and one in Part.
But both functions have a different workaround and different properties/ possibilities.
in part design select before working. and part after start the function (I prefer both are possible).
I think it should be the same function. Where u use the fillet doesn't change the function isn't it??
Probably the same situation is by the Chamfer function...

Re: Fillet Functions
Hi Jee-Bee, the Fillet tool from the Part Design WB:
only works on a solid.
Note: Recently the icon has changed so it might appear slightly different to you in the Part Design WB, depending on which FreeCAD version you’re using.
The Fillet tool in the Part WB:
can be used on hollow items (we call these "Shells") or even on a model simply consisting of two adjacent Faces.
Blue = edited for clarity (I hope).
The differences in behaviour are indicated in the way the icons appear.

Re: Fillet Functions
Oke I didn't know that. I have used it only on solids… Just even when the part have more options then is the part design unneeded.bejant wrote:The Fillet tool in the Part WB:

The only thing is the workflow of fillet in Part WB is less than the workflow in Part Design WB
