FEM Temperature contour plot of single colour

Post by prat »

Hi all,

I have been trying to run thermal analysis using FreeCAD FEM workbench. I have tried both steady state and trasient thermo-mechanical analysis.
In the post-processing section where various plots are available, I notice that only temperature plot seems to have a uniform colour even though the maximum and minimum temperatures are significantly different. But this is not the case with other plots like stress and displacement. How can this is corrected?

I have attached the temperature plot and displacement plot in this post.

I know, it's been a few years now since you had the problem, but I stumbled on the very sdame problem, so here a solution:

The color scales seem to be always centered around 0, no matter the actual max and min values.
So by plotting T-293.15 in the custom expression window you should see what you expect.
