I currently cannot access the site. Perhaps they are still for 0.16? Are there bodies involved in PartDesign?

The first ones look like sketcher exercise, so it doesn't matter, but I recommend to use Freecad 0.18 daily build.

Hello,

If you just type 100 cad exercises in google, you get a lot of sites where you can access the examples. (they are general examples,
not linked to any CAD software) I'm trying to work only through the 3D examples in Part Design

Would be good beginner exercises.

These exercises are not linked to any CAD package. They are simply challenges that may represent actual work projects in some cases.

The important disclaimer on the web page says,

Within this eBook, the reader will find 100 CAD exercises to practice their skills and measure their improvement. This eBook has not been written with the aim to explain how to use CAD software, nor has it been written to teach the reader how to use software to solve the exercises. Readers of this eBook are advised to do their own due diligence to find information on how to solve each exercise.

I am not trying to say anything negative about this set of exercises; merely that they are not any sort of tutorial.

Hello Leo,

If you want help, you'll have to give us actual useful information.

Which exercises did you try, which pages? And what are the difficulties you have?

If you want to learn about sketcher I dare to recommend my Sketcher Tutorial. It has been revised by very experienced FreeCAD helpers like bejant, so I hope it does not contain too many errors.

I think its a good idea to have a set of examples for new users to look at, especially since there are different ways to get the final result.

This is the first 3D CAD exercise on page 59 using the PartsDesign work bench.
