Hiding dimensions?

Post by OldDraftsman »

Just wondering if hiding the dimensions in Sketcher WB is an option yet.

I have a project with a lot of small intermingled parts 6mm x 1.5mm etc and it is getting to be a visual mess. I did some searching and dated back to 2014, it seemed to be sticking in other's craws too. :)

Maybe I need to get a 32" monitor so I don't need to keep panning and zooming so much, or ... :)

From the drop-down menu Sketch>VirtualSpace>Switch or via the Sketcher toolbar.
Allows you to toggle selected constraints or all constraints.

Great, thank you, that's what I wanted. But, who thinks up the nomenclature for these things? :)

It seems to work fine although I sometimes get all the lines changing colors. Might be something I am doing with the mouse, but cannot find what it is that I am doing to cause that. Lines all went black with white Points then a few seconds later came back to white with red Points.

Anyway, that has uncluttered my world, thanks again.

Thanks, but do you have a Braille version of that? I get "no video with supported format and MIME type found." Surely I do not need to install Flash ???? Now that's not about to happen. :D

I don't think flash is required. What is your browser and OS?

I cannot view the video on MacOS with Safari, while it's ok with Firefox.

Looks like it might be related to Apple's quicktime player not supporting webm according to something I found (from 2015, so things might have changed since then).

This might be a workaround -- installing VLC plugin.

Or just use Firefox.

OS: Ubuntu 16.04 all up to date
Browser: Firefox 62.0.0

Will try VLC, in fact I think I installed a long while back but never used it.

Ahh, OK. You really are going to force me to have to Name everything. :)

A nice addition to the right-click popup might be "All On/Off" toggle.

Thanks, my view is clear.
